Ingredients
1 large green apple
2 tbsps. Coconut oil
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tbsp maple syrup
Paleo-friendly granola
Yields 1 serving
Instructions
- Cut green apple into bite-sized pieces, then place them in a medium-sized microwave-safe bowl or mug.
- Add 2 tbsps. of cold coconut oil into a mug, placing on top of apples. If your bowl or mug is full, do not worry as the apples will shrink while cooking.
- In a separate bowl combine the cinnamon and sweetener of your choice (maple syrup, stevia, honey, agave nectar, etc.).
- Add the sweetener and cinnamon mix to the apples and coconut.
- Cover the dish with a microwave safe cover and microwave for approximately 2 minutes. Microwave in one-minute increments as microwave times vary.
- Once cooked, stir and top with paleo-friendly granola.
