No-Bake Granola Bars

 1 cup nut butter (peanut or almond are best)
 ½ cup honey
 1 ¾ cup rolled or quick oats
 1 tsp. Cinnamon
 1 ¼ cup chopped nuts
 ¼ cup chopped dark chocolate (optional)

Yields 12 servings


  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the nut butter and honey until warm and well combined.
  2. Meanwhile, in a bowl mix together oats, cinnamon, nuts, and chocolate.
  3. Add the nut butter mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well.
  4. Press into a baking pan lined with parchment paper.
  5. Cool for a few minutes, then cut into desired size.
  6. Enjoy!
