Ingredients
1 cup nut butter (peanut or almond are best)
½ cup honey
1 ¾ cup rolled or quick oats
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 ¼ cup chopped nuts
¼ cup chopped dark chocolate (optional)
Yields 12 servings
Preparation
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the nut butter and honey until warm and well combined.
- Meanwhile, in a bowl mix together oats, cinnamon, nuts, and chocolate.
- Add the nut butter mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Press into a baking pan lined with parchment paper.
- Cool for a few minutes, then cut into desired size.
